When work needs attention
Start with the message in Sordit, then check the part of the process it points to.
Start with the Task that needs attention. Read its current status and the specific request before changing settings or restarting work. Often the next useful action belongs to a particular person, such as an account owner or reviewer.
Find the right next step
| What you see | Check first | Who can usually help |
|---|---|---|
| Waiting for human | The assigned review or clarification request | The assigned person |
| Unassigned | Which person or Agent should be responsible | Someone with assignment permission |
| A connection problem | The intended account and its authorisation | The account owner |
| Insufficient Credits | The workspace balance | An authorised billing manager |
| Provider limit or unavailable model | The provider account and Agent availability | An authorised Owner or Admin |
| A failed Agent Task | Its activity, result and error information | Someone permitted to review and restart the work |
| A Routine did not start | Its status, trigger, timezone and funding | The Routine’s authorised manager |
Common situations
The Agent cannot find a file or record
Check whose connections the Job uses, then confirm that person can open the exact item in the original business app. Look for a wrong account, a moved file, a restricted folder or an unsupported integration action. Reconnecting an account will not grant permissions it does not have.
A connection needs authorisation again
Have the account owner open Settings → Connections and complete the required connection flow. Then return to the affected Task and follow its available continuation guidance. Do not ask them to send a password or 2FA code through chat.
There are Credits, but the Agent still cannot run
Check the AI provider separately. Sordit Credits and provider usage are different balances. Also check that the Agent is active and its provider is enabled for new work. A provider-related pause may need a person to choose whether to restart or cancel after resolving the issue.
A Human Task is waiting for the wrong person
Ask someone with the appropriate permission to reassign it. A person with broad workspace visibility cannot simply submit another member’s review. If this is recurring work, review the Routine too so future Jobs use the intended reviewer.
The Agent failed or produced an incomplete result
Open the Task and read the activity and output. Check for an unclear brief, missing source or provider problem. Resolve the cause before restarting. Where supported, an authorised person can restart with another available Agent. Repeatedly restarting without changing anything can repeat the same problem.
The Routine did not run at the expected time
Check that the Routine is enabled and the schedule uses the intended timezone. For an event-based Routine, check the supported event and relevant connection. Review Credits and any held work. Changing the Routine does not automatically alter Jobs already created under an earlier plan.
Ask for help with useful context
Share the workspace name, Job and Task you are looking at, what you expected and the message shown. Include the steps you already tried. Keep passwords, API keys and unrelated client data out of the message.
