Set up Sordit for a client
Give each client a place to run their automations, with their own team, accounts and billing.
Your first client setup is easiest when responsibilities are clear. You design the automation with the client, Sordit runs the platform, and the client can manage their own accounts and running costs.
Start with one valuable process. You can expand after the client has seen a complete Job and understands how to review the work.
Agree who handles what
| Setup responsibility | A practical starting arrangement |
|---|---|
| Workspace and workflow design | You create the workspace and shape the process with the client. |
| Business accounts | Each client team member connects their own tools. |
| AI provider account | The client supplies their provider account through an authorised Owner or Admin. |
| Credits and billing | The client funds their own workspace, if that is your agreed arrangement. |
| Reviews and exceptions | The client identifies the people who can make each decision. |
| Ongoing support | Agree which work you may manage and when the client should involve you. |
Set up the first client
- Create a separate workspace
Use the client’s business name and timezone. Keep this client’s people, accounts, work and balance in their own environment. Create a workspace.
- Invite the client’s team
Invite an appropriate client administrator and the people who will connect accounts or review Tasks. Agree your own work scope with the Owner. Manage access.
- Prepare only what the first process needs
Have the relevant people connect their tools. Activate an AI provider, create an Agent and add Credits for paid work. Avoid making account setup a large project before there is a clear first use case.
- Connect your AI chat app
Add Sordit to ChatGPT or Claude and authorise the client workspace. Ask the 2IC to confirm which workspace and resources it can see before planning.
- Run one Job with the client
Use real, authorised inputs and a result they can review. Include a Human Task if a decision belongs to their team. Complete a first Job.
Hand over a process, not just an automation
Show the client where to find My Tasks, how to open a Job’s result and what to do when the Operations Board shows work needing attention. Agree who owns billing, provider accounts and connection renewals.
- The client knows what the automation does and what it does not do.
- Reviewers know where to respond and what their decisions mean.
- The right person can resolve a missing connection or low balance.
- You have agreed when the client should ask you to step in.
