Create and manage workspaces
Keep each client’s people, settings and costs together in their own workspace.
A workspace is a home for one business’s work. Its people, Agents, connections, Jobs and billing stay together. If you support several clients, give each client their own workspace so the right tools and costs stay with the right business.
Create a workspace
- Give it a recognisable name
Use the client’s business name, such as Bennett & Co., rather than the name of a single automation. The workspace can hold all the work you build for that client.
- Choose the business’s timezone
Pick the timezone the team works in. This gives schedules a meaningful local context. For a client in Sydney, choose Australia/Sydney, rather than calculating an offset yourself.
- Create the workspace
Select Create workspace. Check the workspace name at the top left before inviting people or adding connections. You are now setting up this business’s environment.
What stays separate?
| In each workspace | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| People and access | Invite the team who should work with this business. |
| AI providers and Agents | Choose the models and provider accounts for this client. |
| Business connections | Members authorise the accounts they use for this business. |
| Jobs, Routines and results | Follow the client’s work without mixing it with another client’s operations. |
| Billing and Credits | The client can fund their own work and review their own usage. |
Set up the workspace for real work
Start with inviting the right people, then agree who will handle AI providers, business connections and billing. The Setup assistant helps guide the initial setup.
You do not need to connect every tool on day one. Choose one useful first Job, then connect what that Job needs.
Switch between clients
Use the workspace selector at the top left to move between the workspaces you can access. Before making a change, check the selected name. When working through your 2IC, check the workspace named in its proposal too.
