Manage billing and review usage
Keep the client’s running costs visible in their own workspace.
Each workspace has its own Credit balance and billing configuration. If you manage clients, switch into the correct workspace before reviewing usage or making a billing change.
Fund the workspace
- Check who manages billing
Use an Owner or authorised Admin account. If the client is paying for their operations, have their authorised person manage the payment details directly.
- Review the balance and available packages
Choose the package that fits the work you expect to run. Check the current prices and any package bonuses shown before purchasing.
- Choose how you want to top up
You can purchase Credits as needed or configure the available auto-top-up options. Review the threshold and amount so they match the client’s expectations.
- Check the balance after payment
Confirm the Credits are available in the intended workspace. Then return to any work that was waiting for funding and check its status.
Understand the cost of a Job
Start with a completed, representative Job. Review its active Agent time and business tool interactions, then compare the provider token usage separately. A short Job that touches several systems can make more tool calls than a longer document-reading Task.
| Question | Where to look |
|---|---|
| How much funding does this client have? | Their workspace Billing and Credit balance |
| What did this piece of work use? | The Job or Task usage detail available in Sordit |
| What are we spending on AI model tokens? | Provider usage information and the client’s provider account |
| What might this process cost at a larger volume? | A representative Job plus the public Pricing calculator |
When Credits run low
If the workspace runs out of Credits, affected Agent execution pauses, new paid work cannot proceed and Routine events can be held until funding is available. Add Credits and check the affected work. Eligible work can then resume; inspect any separate provider or connection issue too.
Keep client costs easy to explain
Each workspace keeps its own funding and usage. You do not need to pool clients into a single operating balance.
A healthy Sordit balance does not refill an AI provider account. Check both when paid work cannot start.
