Connect Sordit to ChatGPT
Bring your Sordit workspace into the AI chat app you already use.
Connecting Sordit lets you plan and manage work from ChatGPT. You will sign in to Sordit and authorise a workspace, so your 2IC knows which business it is helping.
- You can sign in to the intended Sordit workspace.
- Your workspace access allows an MCP connection.
- Your ChatGPT account or organisation allows custom connections.
Copy your Sordit MCP URL
Open the Setup assistant in your Sordit workspace. Choose Add Sordit to your AI Chat App, then ChatGPT. Copy the MCP URL shown there. Use that value rather than a URL from another workspace or environment.
Add the connection
The current Sordit setup guide uses these ChatGPT steps:
- Enable multi-factor authentication under Settings → Security.
- Open Settings → Plugins, then Browse Directory → Add → Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Sordit, paste the MCP URL into Connection and keep authentication set to OAuth.
- Review the notices and create the plugin.
- When prompted, sign in to Sordit, choose your workspace and select Authorize.
If these options differ for your account, follow the official ChatGPT connection guide and the current instructions in Sordit’s Setup assistant.
Try the connection
Start a new conversation and select Sordit using @sordit. Ask it to inspect the workspace before creating anything.
Using Sordit, tell me which workspace I am connected to and what Agents and business connections are available for my work. Do not create or change anything yet.
Check the workspace name and available resources. Return to the Setup assistant and confirm installation, then plan your first Job.
If the connection is not available
Check whether your ChatGPT account or organisation permits custom connections. If sign-in succeeds but the wrong workspace appears, check the connection you selected and authorise the intended workspace. Avoid starting with a creation request until the workspace check returns the right business.
