Connect Sordit to Claude
Plan and manage Sordit work through a conversation in Claude.
Connecting Sordit lets you plan and manage work from Claude. You will sign in to Sordit and authorise a workspace, so your 2IC knows which business it is helping.
- You can sign in to the intended Sordit workspace.
- Your workspace access allows an MCP connection.
- Your Claude account or organisation allows custom connections.
Copy your MCP URL
In your Sordit workspace, open the Setup assistant. Choose Add Sordit to your AI Chat App, then Claude. Copy the MCP URL provided.
Add the connector
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name the connector Sordit and paste the MCP URL.
- Follow the sign-in and registration options shown, then add the connector.
- Select Connect, sign in to Sordit and choose the workspace to authorise.
- Review the access request and select Authorize.
Your organisation may require an administrator to add the connector. See the official Claude connection guide if the available controls differ.
Check the workspace before planning
Start a conversation with the Sordit connector available. Ask which workspace it can access and which Agents are ready. This gives you a simple check before creating work.
Using my Sordit connection, check the workspace and help me choose a small first Job. Ask about the outcome, inputs and actions that need my approval. Do not create work until I have reviewed the proposal.
Return to Sordit’s Setup assistant to confirm installation. Then follow complete your first Job.
Working with multiple clients
Authorise each workspace separately and make the intended client clear in your conversation. Check the workspace on every proposal before approving it.
If the connection is not available
Check whether your Claude account or organisation permits custom connections. If sign-in succeeds but the wrong workspace appears, check the connection you selected and authorise the intended workspace. Avoid starting with a creation request until the workspace check returns the right business.
