Meet your Sordit 2IC
Work through the plan in your AI chat app, then approve the work in Sordit.
Your Sordit 2IC, or second-in-command, helps turn an idea into work your team and Agents can carry out. You work together in ChatGPT or Claude, with Sordit connected through MCP.
You do not need to draw a workflow node by node. Describe the business outcome, explain the rules and refine the proposal together.
From a conversation to a working plan
- Describe what should happen
Start with the business situation. What arrives, what should the team produce and who needs to be involved? Mention the tools and accounts that hold the information.
- Work through the missing details
Your 2IC can check workspace resources and help shape the Tasks. Clarify exceptions, review points and what should happen if something is missing.
- Review the proposal
Check the workspace, the person the work runs for, the Agents and human reviewers, and any actions that send or change information. Ask for adjustments before approval.
- Approve creation in Sordit
Once the proposal is right, approve it. Confirm that the Job or Routine has actually been created in Sordit, then follow its progress there.
“Every weekday morning, help Bennett & Co. prepare replies to new client enquiries. Use Peter’s Gmail, check the client record in HubSpot and put supporting files in Google Drive. Christina must review the reply before it is sent. If the client cannot be identified, ask Peter rather than guessing.”
Choose the kind of work you need
Use this for a specific outcome now, such as reviewing a document or preparing a report for a meeting.
Use this for an ongoing process. A schedule or supported business event starts a new Job each time.
Work across client workspaces
Authorise each workspace separately in your AI chat app. Make the intended client clear at the start of the conversation, and check the workspace on the proposal. Their people, connections and work remain in their own workspace.
If the 2IC cannot see the right resources, check the selected connection and your authority to act for that person.
